Sam Uley (Edilson Nascimento)
Samuel Uley is a Quileute shapeshifter living in LaPush, Washington. He has been appointed as pack Alpha until Jacob Black phases for the first time. Then traditionally, based on blood line, the title will be passed. Samuel is the first of the wolves to shift and has a protective nature and natural leadership qualities. He's the great grandson of Levi Uley, the son of Joshua and Allison Uley and the boyfriend of Leah Clearwater.

Early Life

Sam was raised by his mother after his father left due to the stress of raising a family. He was born and raised in La Push, Washington and grew up with the stories of the Quileute legends.
He took on the 'man of the house' responsibilities at a young age due to the absense of his father.
High School[]
In his sophmore year at Tribal School, Sam started to date Leah Clearwater. It wasn't for another two years when he and Leah were getting serious that he phased for the first time. Not knowing what to do, Sam ran and it took two weeks until he was calm enough to phase back. He didn't tell anyone and wouldn't talk to anyone, thinking he was insane.
Quil Ateara III noticed the signs of a wolf first and along with the other council members, pulled Sam aside and explained to him what he had become and what his new responsibilities were.
Alpha[]
Looking out for the other boys around the reservation, he was quick to locate new wolves as they phased and calm them enough to bring them into the pack without much panic. He took his job seriously, but knew that Jacob Black would be Alpha when he phased and keeps a close watch on him.
Plots[]
Canon Starter Plots - The responsibilities of being an alpha fell on Sam's shoulders when he was least expecting it but he took it in stride despite the strain the secret puts on his relationship with his mother and his girlfriend. Now, though, he knows that soon the true Alpha, Jacob Black will be transforming soon and Sam's keeping a close watch.
- Sam knows that all these secrets can't be healthy for him and Leah but he's desperately trying to make their relationship work. Lately he's even been looking over engagement rings.
Abilities[]
Beng a shifter, Sam can change his form into that of a wolf. He also has increased speed, strength, senses and while he continues to phase, he does not age.

Sam carries the Uley gene and is a direct desendant of Levi Uley.
